Terms of service

These terms apply to purchases on alpile.com, the Alpile Moments app and our customer support. Alpile is operated by THOMPSONVENTURES LLC. By placing an order or using the app you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer law.

What we sell: physical gift mugs at $9.99 USD each. We also offer Alpile Moments, an optional companion app membership; buying a mug never requires it. The product page, your bag and the checkout show the mug price, shipping, applicable taxes and any membership you choose before you pay. Your order confirmation lists what you bought and what you were charged.

App membership (optional): Alpile Moments is launching soon. Once it is available, you can add it by ticking the membership box in your bag: 7 days free from your purchase date, then $40 USD every 30 days until you cancel, charged automatically to the payment method used at checkout. One membership per customer. The Membership terms explain the trial, renewal, access, cancellation and refunds. You can cancel at any time: Cancel membership.

Orders: mugs and shipping are charged once, as shown at checkout, and are not reshipped automatically. If an item cannot be supplied, or a material price or description error affects your order, we will contact you and offer a correction or cancellation with a full refund. We do not substitute an item or charge an additional amount without your agreement. Shipping and returns follow our Shipping & returns policy.

Payments: payments are processed by our PCI DSS compliant payment provider over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We never see or store your full card number.

Your account: keep your app login details secure and use your own email address. You are responsible for the names, dates and notes you save in the app.

App content: reminders, weekly guides and message ideas are general suggestions for everyday use and do not promise any particular result.

Liability: to the extent permitted by law, the website and app are provided as is, and our total liability for a claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order or, for the membership, the membership fees you paid in the 30 days before the claim.

Changes: we may update these terms. Changes apply to orders placed after the update; the terms shown when you placed an order apply to that order.
